Dr. Nathan Stolch
Dr. Stolch grew up in the Orleans area of Ottawa. He began his studies at the University of Ottawa and graduated magna cum laude with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biopharmaceutical Sciences in 2004. During this time he worked at the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre on pre-clinical and clinical trials of new cancer treatments. He then continued his studies at the University of Waterloo School of Optometry. He graduated on the Dean’s Honours List in 2008 and received the L.M. Newell Clinical Optometry Prize and the Optometric Services Inc. Award for Excellence in Practice Management.
He joined the practice in 2008 and became a partner in 2010.
Dr. Stolch interned with numerous leading-edge Optometrists and Ophthalmologists from the Eye Health Partners of Birmingham, Alabama with an emphasis on diseases of the retina, glaucoma, strabismus, oculoplastics, and the pre- and post-operative management of cataract and refractive surgery.
Dr. Stolch has a special interest in children’s eye health and pediatric eye examinations.
Dr. Stolch also acts as a clinical site supervisor for optometry interns during their final year of training.
He is excited to have returned to Ottawa and looks forward to meeting new and existing patients.
